Report a mistake

Tell us what is wrong and what it should say. Once we accept it, it stays fixed.

Every listing has a Report an error control. It needs no account, it goes to a person, and it is the right route whether the product is yours or not.

Once we accept a correction it stays, so you never have to report the same thing twice. There are two things we will not change, and this says which.

Reporting it

Open the listing, press Report an error, pick the field, and say what it should say instead. A sentence is enough. An address is optional and only used to tell you what happened.

Anyone can do this. You do not have to own the product and you do not have to explain your interest in it.

If a listing sends you somewhere harmful

Pick Where this links is harmful. It goes to the top of the queue, ahead of everything else, and a person looks at it the same day.

This happens when a product shuts down and somebody else buys the domain. The address keeps working, so nothing we check automatically can tell. Once we know, we keep the record and stop linking to it.

If the product is yours

Claim the listing first. Corrections from a verified owner are quicker for us to act on, so they get looked at first.

Owners can propose the name, tagline, description, category, country, team size, funding, and the homepage and pricing URLs.

A correction stays corrected

Once we accept a change, it stays. Nothing later puts the old value back, so you never have to report the same thing twice.

That is also why a person reads your correction instead of it being applied the moment you send it.

What we will not change

The state. It comes from our checks rather than from anyone's say-so, including ours. Report it anyway if you think it is wrong: a person will look, and the cause is usually a bot rule on your side answering us in a way that looks like an outage.

We also will not remove a true fact because it is unflattering. Taking the listing down entirely is a different request and we do honour it. See remove your app.

How long it takes

A person reads every report. If you left an address you hear what was decided, whether or not we changed anything.

Still stuck? Send us a message and a person will read it.
