What you get for free, what a plan adds, and how to cancel.
Reading AppWatch is free and needs no account. A plan adds watches, alerts and export, and nothing that is free today is going behind a wall later.
Below is what each plan allows, how to cancel, and what happens to everything you saved if you do.
| Free | Starter ($29) | Pro ($99) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| App watches | 2 | 15 | Unlimited |
| Market watches | No | 1 | Unlimited |
| Saved alerts | No | 5 | 25 |
| How often you hear | Weekly | Daily | Daily |
| Watchlist history | 30 days | 90 days | All of it |
| CSV export | No | No | 500,000 rows |
Annual billing is two months off. Pricing has the comparison.
One button on your billing page, on every plan, above the upgrade button. It never needs an email to us and it never will.
You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the account stays, everything you saved stays, and it reads as a free account.
You keep the plan while the card is retried, which takes about a fortnight. The usual cause is an expired card, and updating it on the billing page is the whole fix.
Nothing is taken away. If you already have more watches than your plan allows, you keep every one of them and keep hearing about all of them. You are refused only when you add another.
The same applies to alerts, and to how often you hear: cancel a paid plan and you drop back to weekly, but we remember you chose daily, so resubscribing puts it back rather than making you choose again.
A receipt lands in your inbox for every charge, and the billing page has the full archive. That mail is not switchable: it is a record of money we took.
Account settings. It cancels any subscription first, then removes the account. Anything you claimed and anything you saved goes with it.
