We track 2 in running tracker on AppWatch, incumbents and new arrivals in the same list. That is what we have found and matched, not a count of everything that exists.

AppWatch finds apps where they launch, on product directories and app stores, and places each one in the markets its own description fits. It keeps checking whether each app is still online. The counts on this page are what we have found, not every app that exists.
