Version 2026-08-22, last changed 22 Aug 2026. These are the terms you accept when you apply.
1. Applying and approval
Any AppWatch account can apply. We read every application and decide by hand, and we can decline one without giving a detailed reason. Approval is not automatic and applying does not create an agreement until we approve you. Your referral link works from the moment you apply, and anything it brings in while we are reviewing still counts if we approve you.
2. Your referral link
You get one link. Someone who follows it and creates an account within 90 days is attributed to you. First touch wins: if two partners' links are involved, the one that arrived first keeps the referral for the whole window.
You may share the link anywhere these terms allow, including pointing it at any page on AppWatch. You may not obscure where it goes, wrap it in a redirect that hides it, or present it as anything other than a link to AppWatch.
3. How you may promote AppWatch
The rule that matters: no paid advertising of any kind. That includes paid search, paid social, display networks, sponsored posts, retargeting, and bidding on the word AppWatch or anything close to it in any ad network.
Also not allowed: coupon, voucher and deal sites; unsolicited email or messages; posting your link into forums, comment sections or communities where it is off topic; automated posting of any kind; and presenting yourself as AppWatch or as speaking for us.
You may not state or imply that being an affiliate affects what AppWatch publishes about any app, because it does not. See §8.
4. Self-referral and client accounts
Client accounts earn. If you set up a client and they own the account and pay for it, that is a referral like any other. There is no separate agency track, because an AppWatch account has exactly one owner who pays for it.
What does not earn is genuine self-referral: your own subscription, an account you pay for, or accounts under common ownership with you.
5. Commission
You earn 30% of every subscription invoice paid by an account attributed to you, for as long as that account stays subscribed. There is no cap and no time limit.
Commission is calculated on the invoice amount excluding tax. Your rate is recorded on your account when we approve you, and changing the rate we offer new partners does not change yours.
Commission on a refunded or disputed payment is cancelled. If it has already been paid out to you, we may deduct it from a later payout.
6. Payouts
Commission is held for 60 days from the date of the invoice, so that refunds and card chargebacks settle first. After that it is paid in the next monthly run, by PayPal or bank transfer, to the account you gave us. There is no minimum payout.
You are responsible for your own taxes. We pay the gross amount and do not withhold. If the details you gave us are wrong or the payment bounces, we will hold it until you fix them.
7. Suspension and termination
Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason, by saying so. We will suspend an account that breaks §3 or §4, and a suspended link stops earning immediately.
If we end it, commission you have already earned and that has not been cancelled is still owed to you and will be paid on the normal schedule. If we end it because of fraud, we may withhold it.
8. What this never buys
Being an affiliate has no effect on anything AppWatch publishes. Not an app's state, its dates, its category, its evidence, or where it appears in any sorted or filtered view. This applies to your own apps, to your clients', and to your competitors'. It is not a courtesy and we will not make an exception to it.
9. Trademarks
You may use the AppWatch name and logo to say you are recommending AppWatch. You may not register a domain, social account, app or business containing our name, use it as your own brand, or modify the logo.
10. Changes
We can change these terms. When the substance changes we publish a new version here and email every partner. Continuing to use your link after that means accepting the new version, and your account will ask you to confirm it.
11. Liability and law
AppWatch is provided as it is. We are not liable for anything beyond the commission we owe you. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
