| 4 | PR ProcBoss ProcBoss is a lightweight production process and infrastructure management platform for running, deploying, and monitoring applications across servers. Run Node.js, Bun, Deno, & other runtimes with clustering, automatic restarts, health checks, dependencies, cron jobs, logs, metrics, and GitHub auto-deployments. ProcBoss Cloud adds centralized server monitoring, deployment management, alerts, and hosted status pages; giving developers one place to keep production applications running reliably. | |
| 5 | Statusloop Uptime, server and cron monitoring you can set up in two minutes | |
| 6 | mcpgawk An MCP server can change what its tools do after you approved it. Your agent will call the new one and never notice. mcpgawk records a baseline of every MCP server your agents use, checks behaviour in a sandbox, and sits in the path: once a tool's description or power changes, the call is refused until you decide. The agent cannot approve its own way past it. Everything runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. Free CLI, VS Code extension and MCP server. The gateway tier has a 7-day trial. | |
| 7 | InfraNest Manage your infrastructure across all providers from one place | |
| 8 | Cronhq Cron jobs fail in silence. Two servers run the same crontab and your billing job fires twice. A job dies and nobody notices for weeks. Cronhq is a scheduler built around one guarantee: exactly-once execution, enforced by Postgres locks — not best-effort. Around it: retries with backoff, HMAC-signed webhooks, heartbeat monitors for jobs we don't run, and alerts that fire once on failure and once on recovery. Rust on Postgres. MIT-licensed, self-hostable, same image we run. Free tier: 5 jobs. | |
| 9 | GreenCrew Paste a URL. We check it on a schedule and give you a public status page. If something breaks, you can post it yourself. | |
| 10 | Neta Give a world its first heartbeat, unbox it, and watch it grow new apps | |
| 11 | FreeScan.app Audit any public URL for free, no signup. FreeScan uncovers problems and missed opportunities across SEO, AEO, GEO, security, accessibility, and design. Every finding includes evidence, why it matters, and how to fix it. Pro runs automated site-wide audits, organizes results into SEO, AI Visibility, and Fixes workspaces, tracks improvements and regressions, creates agent-ready artifacts, connects coding agents through MCP, monitors uptime, and sends weekly reports and downtime alerts. | |
| 12 | PixoMonitor Multi-location uptime monitoring, cron tracking, and server agents. |

Uptime monitoring checks whether your websites, APIs, and background jobs respond as expected, and alerts you when they do not.
You create a check and define what “up” means. For a website, that can be an HTTP response code and a keyword in the page. For an API, it can be a JSON field or a response time limit. For background jobs, you send a heartbeat ping after each successful run.
The service runs probes from multiple regions. It sends HTTP requests, opens TCP ports, or pings hosts, then measures response time and collects metadata. It can also verify DNS records and watch TLS certificate health, as in CertFleet.
If a check fails or crosses a threshold, the system confirms with retries to reduce noise. It then triggers alerts via email, chat, incident tools, or webhooks. Some tools publish a public status page so you can communicate transparently, like Hyperping and WebGazer.
For cron jobs and data pipelines, a unique heartbeat URL expects regular calls. Missing or late heartbeats flag a problem, a pattern supported by WebGazer and Cronitor.
Dashboards show uptime history, latency charts, and error details. You can group checks, set maintenance windows, and tag services. Reports help track SLA compliance and spot recurring issues. Integrations funnel events into your existing workflows.
Advanced setups layer synthetic flows to simulate user journeys, mix regions to isolate network issues, and add custom headers or auth to test protected endpoints.
Teams use uptime monitoring to catch problems early and keep services reliable.
Vendors usually sell subscriptions with limits on monitored resources and alerting, sometimes with usage add‑ons.
| Pricing model | How it works |
|---|---|
| Per monitor | The plan includes a set number of checks or heartbeats; more checks increase the bill. |
| By check frequency | Faster intervals cost more because they consume more probe capacity. |
| Per status page | Public status pages or advanced incident features add to the subscription. |
| Usage credits | Extra notifications like SMS or phone calls draw from a credit balance. |
| Per seat | Each team member with account access increases the subscription. |
| Tiered subscription | Bundled limits for monitors, regions, and integrations at increasing plan levels. |
